Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSC)
LiveOfficial exam info
Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission's Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) — the state's senior administrative and allied-services entry-cadre exam, notified under the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination Rules 2019. Prelims has two compulsory objective papers of 200 marks each: General Studies (the standard UPSC Prelims GS1 skeleton) and an Aptitude Test/CSAT (qualifying, min. 33%). Mains has a qualifying English paper, an Essay paper, four General Studies papers (verbatim UPSC GS Mains I-IV syllabus text covering heritage & history, governance & polity, economy & security, and ethics), and two optional-subject papers (candidate's choice, honours-degree level), followed by a Personality Test/Interview. Unlike most other state exams on this platform, Arunachal Pradesh's official syllabus carries no state-specific clause, quota, or dedicated paper anywhere — its General Studies content is entirely and faithfully served by the same UPSC Mains citation corpus used across this platform's UPSC-pattern exams.
