Rajasthan Public Service Commission's Combined Competitive Examination (RAS) — the state's senior administrative-service exam. Mains has 3 compulsory General Studies papers (no optional subject) covering History/Economics/Sociology/Management/Accounting, Administrative Ethics/Science & Technology/Earth Science, and Polity/Public Administration/Behavior & Law, plus a qualifying-only Paper IV in General Hindi and General English. Rajasthan-specific material is woven densely throughout — the state's dynastic and freedom-struggle history, art, culture and heritage; its economy, agriculture and welfare schemes on the road to Viksit Rajasthan 2047; its physiography, rivers, minerals and tribes; and its own polity, governance, land-revenue laws and e-governance initiatives. Study material reuses the verified national content pool and UPSC's own World History, GS-IV Ethics, Public Administration Optional, and Sociology Optional corpora wherever the underlying material is genuinely national, plus 5 chapters authored fresh for Rajasthan's own history/culture, economy, social issues, geography, and polity/land-laws, and 3 further chapters contributed to the national pool (accounting & auditing, workplace behavior, and citizen-protection statutes).
